Supersized paper Christmas trees are putting a new spin on the festive season, and farewell pine needles!

From gigantic baubles to paper decorations and minimalist wooden trees, alternative Christmas decorations are having a moment around the world.

One of the trends picking up steam this season is the glorious paper Christmas tree: an eco-friendly alternative to plastic and a standout choice for modern homes. Sustainable, chic and captivating, they’re a fun new way to celebrate the season while reducing your environmental footprint.

A new take on Christmas trees

New to Country Road, the 6ft Honeycomb Tree ($399) uses multiple layers of 100% matte paper card. But so much more than an enormous paper tree, the unique piece brings loads of texture and depth to festive spaces and captures the eye from every single angle.

  • I adore the look of these trees! They are so chic and modern. If they really are convenient to store and come out looking just the same we would absolutely be on board to get one.
