Repair Challenge 2025

The Repair Challenge 2025 gives you the chance to score a $5000 Visa gift card just for showing off your home restoration projects!

With sustainability at its core, the challenge promotes a “reuse and repair” mindset by encouraging Aussies to keep broken or damaged items out of landfills by fixing them up with the help of WD-40 products.

It runs from 16 May to 31 July 2025 and requires you to visit the Repair Challenge website and submit photos and videos of repair projects of your repair projects. The entries will be judged based on the quality of the submissions and must clearly show the use and application of your can of WD-40.

There’s a $5000 Visa gift card up for grabs, plus minor prizes that include 100 x Limited Edition WD-40 x TRADIE branded trunks and socks.

Not a seasoned fixer-upper? No worries. Australia’s Repair Cafés are open to anyone keen to learn, offering tools, materials and expert advice to help you get started. Plus, any project you complete at a Repair Café counts as a valid entry.

In support of the Repair Challenge initiative, we’re giving 10 members of our community the chance to win a WD-40 prize pack valued at $50 each.

The competition is open from 29th May until the 29th August 2025.

Winners will be emailed a voucher to purchase their preferred WD-40 products to the value of $50 at any Bunnings store, including:

  • I’d tackle all the squeaky doors, stuck windows, and rusty tools around the house, then tune up my bike and garage gear—bringing new life to old stuff and making everything run smoothly again. WD-40 would be my go-to fix for small problems with a big impact!

  • I’d literally go around my home on an acerage and WD-40 every door and cupboard hinge, squeaky playground swings and bike chain we have. So satisfying seeing the instant fix.

  • I would stop all my creeking doors around the house finally

  • I would buy the WD-40 products with the money I received and put the products to good use and spread the good word

  • I’d declare war on squeaks, creaks and rust. I’d WD-40 the garage door, the garden shears, the kids’ bikes and that stubborn old tap. And finally hubby could restore those rusty tools so they can last another lifetime.

  • I would spray some WD-40 on the two sliding door tracks to make them slide easier and all around the windows where spiders and making their webs. I hear Spiders hate WD-40!
