Forget lino floors and portable potties, modern caravan interiors have had a major glow-up and they’re changing the way families camp for the better.

Crusader Caravans has just launched its most luxurious range yet, which is less “weekend camper” and much more “architecturally designed home on wheels”.

Aptly dubbed the Designer Series, it marks an exciting (and let’s face it, overdue) step towards curated palettes, boutique finishes and space-saving layouts that give every family member some breathing space.

Taking cues from modern home design

The Designer Series spans 33 Australian-made models and includes many Crusader-exclusive elements like those in high-end architectural homes – think brushed nickel tapware and window splashbacks!

It’s a bold new chapter for the award-winning manufacturer, combining the elegance of modern design with the functionality campers need.

Crusader Caravans Design Consultants Ana Maria Osorio and Deborah Paidoussis are the creative forces behind the project, who worked closely with specialist suppliers to bring a new level of luxury to mobile living.

“Our team of in-house interior designers worked very closely with a number of boutique suppliers to create a distinctive combination of materials, textures, colours, and high-quality finishes, resulting in an interior aesthetic that is uniquely Crusader.”

“The purpose-built Crusader Caravans website allows customers to build their dream Crusader Caravan, including a colour configurator developed exclusively to our specifications, giving our customers a complete interactive and immersive experience.”

“We want people to step inside their caravan after a day of exploring and feel calm, comfortable, and proud of the harmonious and cosy atmosphere they chose. We want to give them something they will love for years to come – an elegant and timeless space.”

The Designer Series isn’t just about good looks either. Aware of the limited floor space of caravans, the design team considered smart ways to make the most of space.

“We’re dealing with a space that’s extremely limited where every millimetre counts, so we had to be extremely careful with our design choices, and I think it shows in the end result; we are really proud of what we have produced.”

  • Wow! These are stunning. I’d happily live in one ( maybe not with 4 kids still living at home though. Theres not quite enough space for that) I do love all the cupboards/ storage space. It’s basically just a small stylish home on wheels i love it. Definitely has all the creature comforts you could want. Perfect for a retired couple.

  • That’s absolutely gorgeous! It’s practically a hotel room on wheels! The only issue with caravans though is that they are just so expensive. It’s unaffordable for a lot of families.

  • What a beautiful and stylish looking caravan. It is amazing how far caravans have come over the years. This would be pure luxury camping in one of these. You could even potentially live in something like this. It has all the modern features and looks roomy enough.
